How many colours does each brand have?
LOTTE Staron: 40 colours. Zenstone: 45 colours. 85 colours in all.
Is the material different?
Every Staron colour whose material type we list (37 colours) is 100% acrylic solid surface. Zenstone has 31 colours in 100% acrylic and 8 in a modified solid surface. Colours that cannot be bent are marked on their own pages.
Is one brand more expensive?
Installed prices follow the look of the colour (plain, chips or veined), not the brand.
Which colours are translucent?
Staron has 14 translucent colours and Zenstone has 6. Translucent colours glow when lit from behind.
Is there technical data?
LOTTE Chemical publishes test results and fabrication data for Staron. Zenstone has not published technical data; ask us and we will request it for your project.
How do I choose?
Start from the colour and look you like, then request samples to see them in your own light.
